My Story
I grew up with a Dutch heritage and traditions. As time has passed, so have many of the people that were a part of these traditions and experiences such as my Opa and Oma. I miss them dearly. I remember when I was a kid on Sunday after church, going to Opa and Oma's for coffee and dessert. It was my favourite time. The smell of coffee, peppermints, pipe tobacco and laughter would fill the air, creating a lasting array of memories that I will always cherish. For me, opening Jantina's Pantry is a way of keeping those lovely memories alive and honouring the people who gave me so much.
